1. Create a Relaxing Atmosphere

Start your Sunday by setting up a calm and inviting atmosphere. Light some candles or use a diffuser with your favorite essential oils. Since it is currently fall, my biggest tips to romanticize life is using A LOT of scented candes. And when I say a lot I mean a lot, you can never have too many. I love using scented candles and especially Yankees candles. The linked one, with the scent apple pumpkin is the ultimate smell for this fall. Having a relaxing environment makes a huge difference in your mood. You should try it and the best thing is that candles can be incorporated in any activity, like when you are reading, taking a bath, doing your skincare, eating dinner etc.

2. Indulge in a Creative Activity

On Sundays you should make time for a hobby. And preferably something creative. Many people do not have a hobby anymore, but it is an important thing for our well being. Whether it’s painting, knitting, or even adult coloring books, getting lost in creativity is a beautiful way to unwind. I enjoy using adult coloring books like this Mandala Coloring Book to express my thoughts and relax my mind. Combine this book ith some new Colouring Pens for Mandala Painting. If you are new to colouring and painting, and do not want/are not able to put so much time into it, mandala can be the ultimate thing for you. It reduces your stress levels and will help you relax.

3. Treat Yourself

Pamper yourself with a little self-care! This could be anything from a long bath with bath salts to applying a face mask. I love using sheet masks. I have recently tried the popular BIODANCE Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask. And I can tell you that this mask is worth the hype! The glow it gives you is crazy. Another all time favourite is the New York Biology Dead Sea Mud Mask for Face and Body The way this mask cleanses my face is unreal, so worth the money. Remember, it’s okay to prioritize your own well-being and put time into it. Being productive is not all about geting ork done, it can also be abut putting time into your own well being and your looks.

4. Get Moving

Sunday is also a perfect day to get active. Take a walk in nature, do some yoga, or try a new workout video at home. Staying active is a key component of self-care and can really help boost your mood. Personally, I always do some sunday pilates and yoga. I have started using these Wrists/Ancle Weights when I do my Pilates and it makes such a difference. You can of course do your Pilates without any weight, but if you want to level up your Pilates you should try these!

5. End the Day with Something You Love

Wrap up your Sunday with something you truly enjoy. It could be watching a movie, reading a book, or cooking a delicious meal. Personally, I love trying out something new and exciting in the kitchen, and it’s a fantastic way to end the week on a positive note. Light your scented candles and enjoy your home cooked meal. (This is a very expensive recommendation), but if you have been thinking about getting an air fryer, this is your sign to get the popular COSORI Air Fryer 5 Qt. You can of course cook delicious food without an air fryer, but this is the one thing that I can not live without. It makes it so easy for me to do my healthy meals and will never disappoint me.

Final Thoughts

Self-care is about giving yourself permission to pause and recharge. By implementing these simple steps into your Self-Care Sunday, you can recharge and prepare yourself for the week ahead. I hope you find time for yourself and create routines that make you feel great.

Remember, you deserve this time! Let’s make every Sunday a day for self-care and reflection.
